In this honest and relatable episode of Her Unshakeable Confidence, Simone and Olivia Knego dive deep into what it feels like when life is simply too much. From juggling work, surgery, and international travel to questioning routines and reacting emotionally, this mother-daughter conversation unpacks the pressure we put on ourselves to do it all—and do it perfectly.

They explore how burnout creeps in, why it's okay to feel overwhelmed, and how self-awareness, support, and honest conversations can shift everything. With vulnerability, humor, and plenty of self-reflection, Simone and Olivia remind us that confidence doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from being real, staying grounded, and giving ourselves the grace to grow through the chaos.

Whether you're managing a packed schedule, navigating emotional overload, or trying to remember your own needs in the midst of it all, this episode will leave you feeling seen, understood, and empowered.

✅ Actionable Takeaways
  • A packed schedule doesn’t define your worth. Check in with yourself—routines are helpful, but flexibility builds resilience.

  • Overwhelm isn't a weakness. It’s a sign to pause, breathe, and realign with your priorities.

  • Let go of perfection. You don’t have to be everything for everyone all the time.

  • Recognize when you're absorbing other people’s stress—and create boundaries around your emotional bandwidth.

  • Find one thing in your day that doesn’t feel like a chore. That’s your anchor.

  • You’re allowed to say no, to change plans, or to slow down—especially when everything feels like “too much.”

  • Embarrassment is a human emotion—not a flaw. Learn from it, then let it go.

In this empowering episode of Her Unshakeable Confidence, hosts Simone and Olivia Knego continue their heartfelt conversation with Dr. Stephanie Duguid. Together, they explore how confidence is affected by the people we surround ourselves with, the thoughts we allow in our minds, and even the clutter in our homes.

From recognizing toxic friendships to reframing negative self-talk, Dr. Stephanie shares actionable advice and mindset tools to help you create a more confident, joy-filled life. The trio also touches on parenting, organization hacks, and how real life—barking dogs and messy desks included—can be the backdrop for building unshakable confidence.

This episode is a relatable and uplifting reminder that growth starts with letting go—of toxic relationships, limiting beliefs, and even that pair of jeans you swore you’d wear again someday.

Actionable Takeaways

✅ Pay attention to how you feel after spending time with someone—your energy is a powerful indicator of a healthy or toxic relationship.

✅ Friendships should evolve and serve both people; it’s okay to move on when they no longer align with who you are.

✅ Reframe negative thoughts by shifting your self-talk. Instead of “I hate my job,” try “My job supports me while I explore what’s next.”

✅ Use Simone’s “Control-Alt-Delete” mindset method to evaluate your thoughts, change your outlook, and delete what doesn’t serve you.

✅ Try small organization hacks like the backward hanger trick or designated mail zones to reduce clutter and stress.

In this heartfelt (and hilarious) mother-daughter chat, Simone and Olivia Knego dive into the beautiful chaos of modern weddings—from guest lists and open bars to prenups and wardrobe do’s and don’ts. As Simone prepares to watch her son get married, they share candid reflections on what it means to parent through big transitions and let go with confidence.

In this inspiring episode of Her Unshakeable Confidence, hosts Simone and Olivia Knego sit down with Kayla Fite—mindset mentor, podcast host, and creator behind Habits You Love. Kayla shares her transformative journey of healing, self-discovery, and embracing authenticity after years of chasing external validation.

Through candid conversation, Kayla opens up about shedding perfectionism, overcoming people-pleasing tendencies, and learning to trust her own unique path. Her story is a powerful reminder that true confidence grows when we stop seeking approval and start living aligned with our purpose.

If you've ever struggled with change, feared judgment, or wondered when it’s finally “okay” to put yourself first—this episode is your permission slip.

🚀 Actionable Takeaways
  • Authenticity over approval. Living authentically means releasing the need to fit molds created by others—and trusting your own voice.

👩‍💼 About Kayla Fite

I like to share my story of discovering my authenticity because it isn't an automatic life skill you are born with. It has to be developed and practiced. As a kid and teenager, I wasn't encouraged to try things I liked or was interested in, I was told what I was going to do, how I was going to be, and made to fit into a box that I never felt was for me. I suppressed myself for a long time and developed a lot of shame along the way. It wasn't until I was 30 that I had to reparent myself, shed a lot of negative programming and I have to practice daily how to show up authentically and vulnerable.

This generation has a massive problem with vulnerability, individuality, and authenticity because of how easy and accessible it is to just copy and mimic what other people are doing, wearing, being, saying through social media. I want to encourage women to first find themselves and then show up from that place rather than trying to be someone they aren't. That is where true, intrinsic confidence comes from as opposed to fake confidence that isn't sustainable. I can also share my three A's as the process you can use to discover it!
