Available Episodes 10

“Healed Girl Era Podcast” did its first LIVE show at the 2025 Women of Power Summit, presented by Nationwide. While on the ground in Las Vegas, Gia sat down with Empify Founder and Financial Expert, Ashley M. Fox, to explore how our emotional wellbeing is intrinsically connected to our earning power, tips on how to start over after losing everything, and what every person who wants to start taking their money more seriously needs to know about how volatile markets can actually be a good time to invest.

We also dive deep into:

  • How a determined Philadelphia native went from Howard University to Wall Street and then left to take all she learned to pour in to her community.
  • How she regained all of her money after losing everything by changing her mindset
  • How her Empify app and community is teaching us the things we didn’t learn in school
  • How spending is related to our emotional wellbeing

Hi! It's Gia-- As the host and creator of "Healed Girl Era Pod," it's time for me to introduce myself to some of you who are just joining us for season two, and re-introduce myself to those who have been riding with me since season 1. Thank you all for being here.

In this episode, I take you through how I started this show, what God has been teaching me in this season, and how it could be helpful for anyone going through a pivot or transition in life. The biggest lesson I've been learning is to value seasons of stretching and discomfort just much as I value seasons of light and joy.

I hope it helps and let me know in the comments if you'd like me to do this more. And, if you have questions for me... Drop them there, too.

What's really holding you back from being the woman you want to be? Is it the labels others put on us as children? OR the comfort zones we are too afraid to come out of because we will look like beginners? Or is it the naysayers whose opinions echo our deepest fears? Monique Rodriguez has faced this and more on her resilient journey to become who God called her to be. As an RN turned founder of Mielle Organics, she has faced trials that would have made many quit. Listen, in our first AUDIO EXCLUSIVE, as she shares what the eras of her life have taught her about loss, triumph, faith, defying expectations and becoming the woman you are meant to be.
